My name is Ken McDonald, I am a freelance photographer based in the Cleveland area of the North East of England.
I have been taking photographs since 1976.
My wide range of equipment allows me to take images in tight interiors to sport and wildlife.
My main interests are wildlife, events coverage and sport, so I cover most of the local events around the Cleveland, North Yorkshire, South Durham area including but not limited to Moto-Cross, BMX, Croft Circuit, Local Rallies, Whitby Goth weekend, re-enactments like Pickering's Railway at war weekend, Whitby Pirates, Romans, Vikings, Agricultural shows and Festivals.
Hello my name is Ian Horner and I have been taking photographs seriously for the past two years now, having recently rekindled my interest in photography.
I live on the North East coast in the pretty seaside
town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea. I love Event photography and
love to cover most of the local events in my area including
Moto-Cross, Rally cross and Surfing.
Festivals and Re-enactments are one of my favourites and
these include Goth week, WWII weekend, etc...
My main interest is taking part in my Camera Club’s competitions and giving illustrated talks to my own (Saltburn Photographic Society) and other Camera Clubs in the area. Some of these images were originally taken on 35mm slide film, but for the last two years most of my images have been taken on a digital camera.
